Hi there. What some of you may not know about me is that I am a poetry buff. I love writing poems in my spare time (although I don’t have much of that these days). I would like to share with you the latest poem I have written. I hope you enjoy:
Love Poem
Diving into something I couldn’t handle,
I took a chance and flirted with a beautiful stranger.
The brilliant radiance of his honey brown eyes caught me by surprise,
His ebony skin and innocence mercilessly drew me into his dark world.
The gravitational pull of his alluring eyes compels me to strike up a conversation with him.
Who was this mature and eloquent speaker in front of me?
The deeper we talked, the more things we had in common I could see.
We were one in the same,
Just playing the love game.
Win, lose, or draw,
I thought I had it all.
But in the end, my mind was made,
First loves may disappear, but memories never fade.
